THIS PLACE IS DYING. n.n
PROBABLY ALREADY DEAD, BUT WHATEVS.

So I'm assuming some ideas/plots/whatnot would be a bit of a help to get things running smoothly again. At least for a little while longer. I'll be trying myself to think of something, though I do suck at thinking up something good in such a short time, and I was hoping some of you guys could too. ^^;

And whatever you come up with, you can either post here or send to an Admin through a PM.

Hm... Um... The Advent, the Organization, and everybody in between clashes violently due to different beliefs? Thus effectively dragging everybody out of hiding? xD

You know how Sora's gone about slaughtering all the poor Heartless and Nobodies in the name of 'light'? Well. If light tips the balance, that'd be as bad as if darkness did the same thing. Correct?

So say right now there's an imbalance of power. On the one hand, there would naturally be those that would want to just strike back at the Light, hoping to right the balance by that means... but as we know, wars don't particularly solve anything.

So say the uncontrolled Heartless and Nobodies deal with the problem the only way they know how: by attacking people en masse. Which attracts WAY too much attention than is good for anyone.

Fingers are pointed in accusation on both sides. Tensions increase. Meanwhile, the worlds are fraying at the seams.

Now here's what I'm thinking. Suppose there is a kind of schism- like-minded individuals from each side (the organization, Advent, et cetera) deciding that a temporary alliance might be the only chance to stop everything from going to hell in the proverbial handbasket.

This is seen as treason by their colleagues.

And... um....
God.
That's as far as I've gotten with that thought. Oops. ^^;

I actually have an entire group of madeup merc charries that I can drag into such a conflict.

Perhaps they finally find a way to work with somebody... perhaps they just spy or observe. Or perhaps they even conduct one of their own experiments on a heartless to unleash an even more powerful force of darkness...

Those three I think of. Just to let you know, Alpha K has 25 other comrades, excluding his boss. >>D

I'm guessing Aral's idea never went into action? Or is that still underway?

In the event that it's not, I have something different and, in the long run, converse from what was suggested above. It is the typical story of hordes of Heartless entering a world and ripping its inhabitants a new one. The key difference? Rather than seeking hearts, the one behind the attack is out for an infinitely more selfish goal; world (or rather.....universal?) domination.

Imagine, if you will, a single man (or woman or kid, considering the way things work around here) who seeks nothing less than an empire to call his own. Finding he has the will to control the Heartless, he uses them as a sort of disposable army to fulfill his needs. Why would this-

Gilgy: Hey, doesn't that new character you're making have that same agenda?

Uh, yeah.....

Gilgy: And doesn't he have the will to control the Heartless?

....what are you implying?

Gilgy: I knew it! You're pushing your villain! You just want a position of-

-tosses Gilgamesh a rubix cube-

Gilgy: Oooh~ -starts solving-

.....anyway, why would this be fun? Because rather than random Heartless attacks on random civilians, it would be a full-blown battle of armies and tactics to either claim a world or maintain it (the latter obviously being the goal of defenders). Imagine a full-scale assault on Hollow Bastion, in which the *nameless commander* attempts to break through the defenses with his ranks of Heartless, while the Resistance run by Leon orchestrates defensive measures to keep their asses out. Since there would only be one guy, he could not fight battles on two worlds (unless he got lieutenants or something to help him).

Of course, there are darkness-aligned factions that would not be pleased by this turn of events. This *mystery warlord* would probably make enemies with Advent and the Organization, who wouldn't want some random guy claiming everything and eventually rubbing them out of the picture. Furthermore, imagine if this guy was to try to take The World That Never Was, clashing directly with the Organization. Hordes of Shadows facing tides of Dusks! Now THAT could get messy!

So....yeah. That's it. No snappy conclusion. Get used to it.

I have one complaint!

Xemnas and Ansem and all the others have had the will to control the Heartless in the path. Proving that in no way do normal people have the will to control Heartless, only someone who has darkness within them and can control it properly.

So you'd essentially have to create an evil character specifically for this roleplay, give him a believable story, and then either give him to a person, or make an account that is open and put him on there. From there we either have a plot written up, or just spontaneously write the plot as we go along, making sure we stick to his personality and goals.

I think I like the idea of making a villain without a past, who is much easier to play. If the world is out of balance, it'll likely be because the darkness is now stronger than the light, even if marginally. And that extra darkness gets turned into an intelligent Heartless, one who could control the darkness because he IS darkness and HAS the will to control them. When the darkness continues to gain power, he creates intelligent siblings and together they continue to collect the hearts and plunge all worlds into darkness.

Or we can do it the other way. We can have the light be more powerful, and the leader of the light (again, we'd need to create a history for him or her) who becomes corrupt (somehow not becoming dark, but still evil) and believes they need to completely eradicate the darkness. Understandably, the darkness is a huge threat, but it is necessary to keep the world in balance.

So our heroes (or anti-heroes, or whatever.) learn of this plot and some join all sides, ones who join the light, some join their own side dedicated to fighting both sides in order to keep the world in balance, and those who join the darkness because they feel threatened.

It's difficult to write up a really original plot for anything Kingdom Hearts because I feel like it's probably been done before. I don't want too many groups in this universe, and I don't want to make up something completely new, so I'm hoping we can apply these plots to our current state.

Aral's idea of the light gaining the advantage is good, because it's a non-specific foe. In fact, that unfinished roleplay in Twilight Town is good for this. The Heartless are taking attacking en masse and instead of taking hearts, they are corrupting them and turning those with hearts into pseudo-Heartless, without Nobodies. Seifer would be one of those. He has no mark, not because he's a natural Heartless, but because he's even faker than the artificial kind. His heart is plagued by a cover of darkness, which will slowly overtake his soul and turn him into a real Heartless, but this fake Heartless is even stronger than a real Heartless because it doesn't make new creatures with the same old powers, it takes advantage of someone's innate power and multiplies that, and gives them a reason to destroy everything.
